Qualification Requirements

Entry is based on a bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline with a 5.0 GPA, or a bachelor qualification with relevant research preparation.

To be eligible to apply for this course you must meet one of the following entry requirements:

You have completed a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0.
You have completed an AQF Level 7 qualification (or overseas equivalent) in any discipline, and you have had adequate relevant preparation since graduation.*
Please note: You must also meet the English Language Requirements for all Higher Degree by Research candidates. Please see the Additional Requirements section below for further information.

Eligibility for admission is reviewed by the Head of School or delegate (for example, Higher Degree Research (HDR) Coordinator) under the oversight of the Associate Dean Research (ADR).

An IELTS(Academic) overall score of at least 6.5 with no sub-band score less than 6.0 (or equivalent TOEFL score of at least 91 in the internet-based test with no less than 22 in the written component and 20 in listening, speaking and reading), or a Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic minimum overall score of 64 with no skill less than 58
