Qualification Requirements

To be considered for entry, you must have completed:

An undergraduate degree with a major in a relevant discipline, with a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65 percent, or
An undergraduate degree with a major in any discipline, including at least 25 points (two subjects) in one or more of chemistry, biology, mathematics or statistics subjects (or equivalent), with a WAM of at least 65 percent, or
An undergraduate degree with a major in any discipline and a Graduate Certificate in Environment, with a WAM of at least 65 percent, or
A 2-year associate degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, 5 years documented, relevant professional experience and either the completion of a relevant Melbourne MicroCert or an appropriate level of performance on a test conducted by the Selection Committee. The test will confirm generic skills necessary for successful study in the program, including the ability to analyse and interpret scientific or technical data, comprehend and use scientific literature, and conceptualise a problem.
