The Asian law specialization is perfect for legal practitioners and professionals working with Asian legal frameworks in commercial, legal, or policy roles, as well as academics focused on Asian studies. Both international and local students will gain from the varied curriculum, learning from faculty fluent in Asian languages with firsthand experience practicing law in Asian countries. The program also connects students to the Asian Law Centre - Australia's pioneering and most extensive hub for Asian legal studies - and its partner institution, the Centre for Indonesian Law, Islam and Society, specializing in Indonesian and Islamic law throughout Asia.
