The University of Melbourne's Department of Finance offers a Doctoral program in Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences that equips students with interdisciplinary training spanning social, biological, and mathematical sciences. This program focuses on understanding human decision-making and problem-solving processes regarding risk and complexity, both at individual and market scales. Through experimental approaches and theoretical frameworks, participants will address critical research challenges in decision science, risk analysis, and financial systems. The curriculum consists of a two-year Master of Commerce component followed by three years of PhD research.
