For those truly committed to nutrition and shaping dietary requirements for a growing and aging society, the UC Master of Nutrition program equips you with essential expertise and credentials to drive meaningful change locally and nationally. During this program, you'll leverage your current knowledge to design and implement a self-directed research initiative, followed by 20 weeks of immersive professional training to realize your project - all while receiving comprehensive guidance from academic leaders and industry mentors. Your practical placement may occur in diverse environments like hospitals, community facilities, or food service operations, providing valuable hands-on experience and professional connections.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
A) a completed bachelor degree in human nutrition
B) two degree level units in chemistry
C) four degree level units in human biology and human physiology
D) two second year degree level units in biochemistry
E) four degree level units in food and nutrition science
To be eligible you must have an Overall Academic IELTS score of 7.0 with no band score less than 6.0. TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 94 with: R: 13; L: 12; S: 18; W: 21; Pearson Test of Academic English: 65 with no skill score below 50; Cambridge English Scale: 185 with no sub-score below 169; Occupational English Test: No grade lower than 'B' in any of the sub-tests
