For graduates contemplating a career shift, the UC Master of Medical Imaging provides an intensive program that compresses a thorough three-year curriculum into a globally recognized qualification in just 2.5 years.
This highly targeted, dynamic, and interactive course equips you with diagnostic radiography expertise while letting you graduate six months sooner—giving you a significant edge over comparable programs elsewhere.
Upon completing the course, you'll qualify to register with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) as a Diagnostic Radiographer, positioning you to advance as a skilled professional in the field.
Recognized by the MRPBA, the UC Master of Medical Imaging enables graduates to obtain licensure for diagnostic radiography roles in both public hospitals and private practices across Australia and internationally.
With a strong career orientation, the program incorporates continuous Work Integrated Learning (WIL), providing specialized training in diverse areas like general radiography, mammography, angiography, MRI, CT, and medical ultrasound.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
A) a completed bachelor degree in any discipline
B) a minimum of two degree level units of anatomy and physiology.
Assumed Knowledge
Assumed knowledge for entry is introductory psychology, introductory physics and introductory statistics at bachelor degree level.
To be eligible you must have an overall IELTS Academic score (or equivalent) of 7.0, with no band score below 7.0. TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 94 with: R: 24; L: 24 S: 23; W: 27; Pearson Test of Academic English: 65 with no skill score below 65; Cambridge English Scale: 185 with no sub-score below 185; Occupational English Test: No grade lowers than 'B' in any of the sub-tests.
