The Bachelor of Primary Education (Health and Physical Education) is a dynamic four-year program that qualifies you as a primary teacher while specializing in health and PE. You'll master the national literacy and numeracy curriculum for Kindergarten through Year 6, with particular expertise in primary health, personal development, and physical education.
Starting in your second year, you'll be placed in primary schools, directly engaging with subjects like English, science, mathematics, technologies, humanities, social sciences, and health/PE through specialized Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) units. Upon graduation, you'll possess comprehensive knowledge of how children aged 5-12 learn, preparing you to apply your skills as either a general primary teacher or specialized PE instructor.
