Interaction Design (IxD), often referred to as UI/UX, focuses on crafting engaging digital interactions. This field combines User Interface (UI) design - shaping the visual elements of devices like computers, smartphones, and smart appliances for optimal use - with User Experience (UX) design, which examines how target audiences think, feel, and behave when interacting with specific products or digital services in various situations.
Through this program, you'll learn core principles, methodologies, and modern UI/UX approaches to understand how users interact with diverse digital platforms, from screens to mobile devices and virtual environments. You'll develop insights into human psychology and apply this understanding to create intuitive, user-focused digital experiences.
During your studies at UC, you'll complete multiple hands-on projects, building a professional portfolio that demonstrates your innovative thinking, technical abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. Graduates emerge as skilled UI/UX professionals prepared to lead in making technology more intuitive and accessible for all users.
