Merge innovative digital techniques with world-class art and craft studio methods in the Bachelor of Design program. Design students gain comprehensive exposure to digital, hands-on, and theoretical learning while exploring diverse creative approaches. They engage in practical design applications across both digital and physical mediums, from programming to fabrication. The curriculum covers web design, data visualization, and interactive design, while studio sessions allow students to master cutting-edge digital creation and production techniques.
Applicants who complete a recognised secondary/senior secondary/post-secondary/tertiary sequence of study will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application.
Entry to the Bachelor of Design is based on completion of an Australian Year 12 or (international) equivalent. An interview and portfolio assessment also form part of the admissions requirement. Once an application for the Bachelor program has been lodged, applicants are required to register for an interview and upload a portfolio on the ANU School of Art and Design website.
