The Bachelor of Nutrition equips you to evaluate health factors and dietary requirements across communities and larger populations. This program features a unique, industry-sponsored group nutrition initiative, providing hands-on learning opportunities. The Nutrition degree focuses on applying preventive approaches to tackle dietary challenges affecting various population groups. You'll build a strong foundation in health sciences, biology, and physiology while exploring nutrition's role in public health, disease prevention, and wellbeing enhancement. The curriculum develops your ability to assess, design, and execute nutritional intervention strategies. Specialized coursework covers topics including Indigenous culture and healthcare, community nutrition programs, and projects focusing on specific demographic groups, all designed to cultivate practical professional competencies.
Successful completion of at least 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5, 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6 or above, or equivalent
