The Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) explores how nutrition, diet, and lifestyle choices influence health, along with therapeutic approaches to enhance wellness. Graduates will be equipped to begin professional clinical nutrition practice in community settings.
This program teaches core health science principles, including human biology, physiology, pathology, and evidence-based research methods. You'll examine how dietary strategies can promote health for individuals, groups, or entire populations. Through supervised training at our specialized student clinic, The Practice Wellbeing Centre, you'll gain practical experience working with public patients. The curriculum integrates Work-Integrated Learning and clinical placements within theoretical coursework.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) can pursue diverse career options. From delivering personalized nutritional counseling to developing creative dietary solutions or contributing to nutrition research, qualified clinical nutritionists are increasingly sought after across healthcare and related industries.
Successful completion of at least 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5, 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6 or above, or equivalent OR Australian secondary school certificate, or equivalent Senior Secondary qualification, or Baccalaureate Diploma. Academic IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent OR alternative entry requirement may be available. Alternative entry may include assessment and approval of prior study, or successful completion of a readiness assessment.
