The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology program focuses on building both theoretical understanding and hands-on abilities for creating, implementing, managing, and maintaining IT systems.
This program offers students foundational competencies that cover fundamental approaches to designing and developing IT solutions. Participants will acquire essential skills to handle basic information technology systems at an introductory level.
The curriculum equips graduates with capabilities to perform intermediate-level work in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), while also serving as a stepping stone for advanced studies.
This certificate program enables professionals from non-technical fields to transition into IT careers.
Applicants are required to have completed: a bachelor degree (or higher award) in any discipline (with few or no studies in information technology – less than one third of the degree); or three years relevant work experience; or the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (available to International applicants only).
