The Bachelor of Cyber Security (BCyberSec) program aims to produce skilled, hands-on cybersecurity professionals. This curriculum blends fundamental business principles with specialized cybersecurity expertise. Participants will acquire abilities to detect, analyze, and mitigate digital threats. Modern and cutting-edge ICT subjects including big data analytics, blockchain technology, business analytics, and IoT are integrated to keep students abreast of current ICT advancements.
Cybersecurity involves safeguarding digital systems, networks, software, and data against interference, unauthorized access, or harm. This rapidly expanding sector within ICT demands growing expertise. AustCyber projects Australia will require 17,000 more cybersecurity specialists by 2026 to address escalating cybercrime risks. Globally, vacant cybersecurity positions surged from 1 million to 3.5 million between 2003 and 2021.

Completion of a current or previously approved VCE, HSC or equivalent, or
Completion of the IB Diploma, including English, or

Completion of one year of study at Level 7 of the AQF or equivalent at an Australian or overseas higher education provider. This includes applicants who have completed or partially completed a degree or HE Diploma.
