This specialization is exclusively offered to students pursuing the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Computer Science Advanced degrees. The program focuses on equipping graduates with robust expertise in networked computer systems. Modern developments in computer and telecommunications networks, especially TCP/IP-based systems, have significantly elevated the role of networking technologies within computer science.
The curriculum encompasses diverse subjects such as computer network fundamentals, communication protocols, multimedia technologies, Internet standards, cybersecurity, mobile and wireless computing, and distributed systems. Students will also explore contemporary research topics shaping this dynamic field.
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.

IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
