For those pursuing registration as a psychologist, this program offers an efficient postgraduate route requiring just a single application. You'll develop expertise in individual case management while gaining comprehensive knowledge of preventive approaches, research methodologies, and assessment techniques at both personal and systemic levels. Upon completion, students qualify to seek registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) after completing one year of supervised practice. This two-year full-time curriculum (with potential part-time arrangements subject to approval) blends academic coursework, practical placements, and research projects. The final year features two practical placements, offering valuable real-world clinical experience.
Entry into this course is competitive and requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology, accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (or Australian Psychological Society-approved alternative).
