This program enhances your expertise in clinical exercise physiology while providing opportunities to conduct cutting-edge research in exercise science. As a rapidly expanding field both in Australia and globally, exercise science offers diverse career paths. Through this Master's program, you'll refine your ability to design exercise regimens for patients with chronic and complex health issues while advancing your research capabilities. The initial year combines academic coursework with hands-on experience through an internship in Murdoch's Exercise Science Research initiative. The program concludes with a research project focused on contemporary challenges in exercise science, which could involve optimizing athletic performance for elite competitors or tailoring exercise plans to improve wellness for those managing chronic illnesses.
Minimum Bachelor Degree (AQF level 7 or international equivalent) in Exercise Science, Sport Science or related discipline or * have a Bachelor Degree in a different discipline (AQF level 7) and: a) have successfully completed a graduate course in the same discipline requiring at least one year of equivalent full-time study (AQF level 8); or b) satisfy the Dean of Graduate Research with evidence of professional attainments (of at least two years' full-time duration or equivalent) relevant to the proposed research discipline;
English Language requirements: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0; CAE - 169 overall with no band below 169; PTE - 50 with no band below 50; TOEFL IBT - 73 with no band less than 18; OET - OET with a minimum of C (250-290) in each of the four components.
