As an environmental specialist, you'll require precise comprehension of methodologies and competencies necessary for analyzing intricate environmental challenges across diverse contexts including urban, mining, agricultural, and aquatic environments. Elevate your Environmental Science credentials, or acquire the essential expertise to transition into this field if your background is in geology, forestry, agriculture, zoology, botany, or urban planning. You'll develop thorough knowledge of scientific principles, policies, protocols, and approaches used in environmental planning and conservation. Completing this program may qualify you for admission to our one-year Master of Environmental Science program.
A recognised Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or higher or equivalent training. If the first degree is not related to this area of study then at least two years of relevant work/life experience is required. Most of the units taken assume some prior knowledge, details of which are given in the description of each unit in the Handbook. Some students may therefore need to complete additional prerequisite units.
English Language requirements: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0; CAE - 169 overall with no band below 169; PTE - 50 with no band below 50; TOEFL IBT - 73 with no band less than 18; OET - OET with a minimum of C (250-290) in each of the four components.
