This program provides working professionals with expertise in high-quality occupational health and safety practices to recognize, mitigate, and address workplace and environmental health hazards. Participants will develop skills to methodically manage potential risks and exposures across diverse work and community settings. Designed to empower learners to make informed independent decisions, the curriculum focuses on creating, executing, and assessing risk control measures in various occupational scenarios. Ideal candidates include healthcare providers, nurses, allied health workers, researchers, and safety managers. While primarily delivered through distance education, mandatory on-site sessions are held each term.
An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a pass (50%) average.
