Our Master's program is designed to fuel your passion while equipping you with boundary-crossing skills to develop interdisciplinary solutions, empowering you to contribute to a fairer and more sustainable world. Your existing experience serves as the foundation. The initial phase provides an interdisciplinary grounding, enabling you to examine the interconnectedness of ecological systems, societal structures, and economic frameworks. You'll then focus on a cutting-edge discipline by selecting from five specialization tracks. Finally, you'll implement your specialized and interdisciplinary expertise through practical applications like internships, industry-connected sustainability projects, or dedicated research work.

This graduate program prepares you for numerous impactful positions. Our alumni have secured roles across corporate sectors, all levels of government (including agencies such as environmental protection authorities), international and domestic nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, research facilities, policy centers, and advisory firms.
Your career path will naturally align with your chosen specialization. Opt for 'environment and governance', and you might develop sustainability initiatives, conduct environmental assessments and policy formulation, or lead public awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts.
Entry level 1: An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with at least 60% (credit) average, or qualification/experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty leading the specialisation considers to be equivalent.
Entry level 2: An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including business, environmental science, humanities, science or social sciences, with at least 60% (credit) average, or qualification/ experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty considers to be equivalent
OR
An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and an Australian graduate certificate/diploma (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including business, environmental science, humanities, science or social sciences with at least 60% (credit) average in each qualification, or qualification/experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty considers to be equivalent.
Entry level 3: An Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including business, environmental science, humanities, science or social sciences with at least 60% (credit) average, or qualification/ experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty considers to be equivalent.
