The combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Global Studies program is structured around immersive local and international learning opportunities, tailored for aspiring leaders tackling worldwide issues. The Bachelor of Arts component provides a choice of 30 academic disciplines, spanning history, psychology, sociology, communications, and philosophy, while equipping students with crucial competencies like articulate communication, interpersonal abilities, emotional intelligence, analytical reasoning, cross-cultural sensitivity, and international perspectives.
The Bachelor of Global Studies fosters leadership for societal transformation. Students will develop a nuanced comprehension of local, regional, and global dynamics through one of four concentrations: intercultural studies, human rights, international relations, or international studies.
This dual degree delivers the complete advantages of both programs, thoroughly preparing graduates for careers in either discipline individually or for integrated professional paths combining both fields.
All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered.
