Whether you focus on structural or municipal transportation engineering, or pursue construction management, this program opens doors to careers in urban planning, infrastructure development, geotechnics, or engineering consultancy.
The Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) includes a Work Integrated Learning component featuring internships, placements, and industry projects, which may be completed either on-site or virtually.
The program requires completion of a 300-hour Work Integrated Learning capstone subject (BET410) for full degree students.
Those choosing the Associate Degree exit pathway must complete a 220-hour Work Integrated Learning capstone subject (BET210).
Throughout the year, students can participate in professional practice opportunities to network and collaborate with our industry partners.
