Social work is a scholarly and applied field dedicated to fostering societal transformation, community unity, and the strengthening and autonomy of individuals (AASW Practice Standards 2013). Aligning with this vision, graduates of this program will gain comprehensive understanding of core theories, fundamental concepts, and essential social work competencies, along with developed abilities in analytical reasoning, principled and self-aware practice, and ongoing career growth. The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) integrates academic frameworks that expand upon prior university-level learning.
