The Master of Social Work is a postgraduate program designed to equip students with the expertise, practical abilities, and field experience needed to become certified social workers. Accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), this two-year program features 1,000 hours of supervised fieldwork. Our teaching philosophy mirrors the profession's hands-on nature, immersing students in real-world social work scenarios from their first day. You'll cultivate vital skills like interviewing, counseling, and collaborative problem-solving through interactive learning methods - from role-playing assessments with actors to analyzing case studies in workshops. The program includes two 500-hour supervised placements with our partner organizations, giving you direct client interaction experience.
