The 21st century faces three critical challenges: promoting decent work, eliminating poverty, and achieving environmental sustainability. Shifting to eco-friendly societies demands an economy-wide transformation and widespread adoption of green skills among workers. Experts project a requirement for 100 million green jobs by 2030, yet currently just 12.5% of workers possess relevant green competencies. Consequently, professionals capable of implementing sustainable solutions across established and emerging industries will enjoy global demand.
Distinct from other sustainability programs, the Master of Sustainable Development offers an interdisciplinary curriculum tailored to the growing green economy. By integrating knowledge from diverse fields including business, law, social sciences, geography, urban planning, health, and environmental studies, this program equips students with versatile skills applicable across all industries - particularly in key sustainability sectors like energy, transportation, and financial services.
