The continued existence of every living organism on our planet relies on healthy, well-balanced ecosystems. Biodiversity loss leads to ecosystem collapse, which in turn affects our freshwater supplies, atmospheric quality, and agricultural landscapes. Protecting our natural world has emerged as a worldwide imperative, creating a growing need for professionals skilled in developing and executing biodiversity preservation approaches.
The Master of Conservation Biology program provides specialized training in conservation principles, applications, and ethics across various biological scales - from individual species to complete ecological systems. Students will deepen their expertise in climate change impacts on species, international conservation efforts, geospatial analysis techniques, wildlife population studies, and field research methodologies, complemented by hands-on biological research experience.
