As an Anthropology major, you'll learn from experts specializing in various global regions such as Australia, Asia, and the Pacific. Your studies will cover diverse subjects like Indigenous Australian cultures, digital anthropology, family structures, youth studies, human-animal relationships, magic and folklore, contemporary culture, culinary traditions, healthcare, sustainability, and development. You'll acquire essential anthropological research techniques, ethical understanding, and hands-on fieldwork experience. This program equips you with valuable skills for careers in anthropology, public administration, nonprofit organizations, social work, policy development, healthcare services, consumer research, teaching, Indigenous land rights, mediation, museum work, and cultural preservation.
At a minimum, you need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a certain grade. You may also need to meet subject pre-requisites
English language requirement:
IELTS: Overall 6.0, no band less than 6.0; Pearson Test of English (PTE): Overall score of 46 with no communicative skill score less than 46; TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall score of 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing; Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) / Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 169 with no less than 169 in any component
