This program expands upon the rigorous scientific background students gained during their bachelor's studies in science or health sciences, offering advanced training in pharmaceutical sciences, professional pharmacy practice, and research. Through a diverse curriculum including lectures, collaborative learning exercises, hands-on simulations, interdisciplinary education, and clinical rotations, you'll acquire the expertise needed to enter an internship program.
The curriculum emphasizes developing pharmacy professionals dedicated to continuous education. Graduates will possess comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical, clinical, and social science principles, enabling them to provide pharmaceutical services in both community and hospital environments after completing required pre-registration training, while assuming professional accountability for medication production and quality control.
Applicants are eligible for admission into the Master of Pharmacy subject to meeting the following criteria- completed an eligible science or health science Bachelor degree within the past 10 years; achieved an overall GPA greater than or equal to 5.0 (on a 7.0 point scale) calculated over the final 120CP (or equivalent) of undergraduate study
