Created in collaboration with industry experts, this program equips psychologists and provisional psychologists with the skills for a lasting career in Clinical Psychology. You'll master advanced methods for clinical psychological evaluation, case analysis, and applying and assessing interventions. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based ethical practice, incorporating extensive hands-on training throughout your studies. As part of the program, you'll complete 750 hours of supervised psychological practice under experienced, accredited clinical psychologist supervisors to develop your professional competencies. The degree fulfills the criteria for general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and provides entry to the Registrar program for clinical psychology specialization. Graduates also qualify for associate membership in the Australian Psychological Society's College of Clinical Psychologists. This program is ideal for registered psychologists or those with provisional registration who have finished the fifth year of an accredited 5plus1 program, offering a pathway to clinical psychology registrar eligibility.
