The postgraduate program in groundwater hydrology equips scientists, engineers, and environmental specialists with essential groundwater expertise through a career-oriented curriculum. Students develop comprehensive knowledge of hydrological systems and processes, extending beyond groundwater to explore its vital connections with surface water systems, plant life, and related environmental factors.
Alongside our robust graduate teaching offerings, we maintain a premier research initiative for doctoral candidates. Recognized worldwide for excellence in groundwater studies, Flinders University ranked 13th internationally for water resources research in the 2019 Academic Ranking of World Universities. The university serves as a principal collaborator in the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (NCGRT), headquartered at our campus.
Applicants for the masters must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline of science or engineering from an approved tertiary institution.
