Tailored for students with a strong foundation in chemistry, this program enhances your chemical expertise by developing research and professional capabilities to examine, evaluate, and integrate intricate information, challenges, concepts, and frameworks for solving sophisticated problems. The Master's curriculum explores both practical and theoretical chemistry components while fostering comprehension of professional ethics and societal considerations, including economic, cultural, and environmental dimensions of chemistry worldwide. Coursework and projects are structured to tackle current industry and societal issues, equipping you for advanced research studies or careers in chemistry-related professions.
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent with a major in chemistry or a closely related discipline from an approved institution. Knowledge of second year chemistry is assumed. The Master of Science is not available to students who hold an honours degree in the same discipline.
