The archaeology and heritage management program is designed to address both academic and career requirements for graduates passionate about Australian archaeology, field excavation techniques, and cultural heritage consulting. It seeks to enhance your theoretical foundations, research capabilities, and practical expertise, fostering a comprehensive grasp of key topics across various archaeology and cultural heritage management disciplines. Combining conceptual frameworks with hands-on learning, the curriculum enables you to implement both theoretical concepts and technical competencies acquired throughout your studies.
Applicants who hold a bachelor degree or honours degree in archaeology, heritage management or a closely related discipline are eligible for the 1.5-year program, and will complete up to 54 units of study. Selection is based on academic merit with an above credit average required.
