The Graduate Diploma in Computer Science is a one-year full-time program (or part-time equivalent), delivered by the College of Science and Engineering. In today's fast-evolving digital landscape, every technological breakthrough stems from foundational scientific principles. Computer science builds the essential frameworks that power information technology, and Flinders University's computer science programs equip students with the expertise, understanding, and hands-on experience necessary to excel in this dynamic and rewarding discipline.
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, information technology, ICT-based engineering or a closely related discipline or hold the Graduate Diploma in Computer Science.
Knowledge of at least second year undergraduate level study in computer science is assumed.

IELTS (Academic): 6.0 Overall with 6.0 Speaking, 6.0 Writing; TOEFL iBT: 72 Overall with 18 Speaking, 21 Writing; Pearson PTE Academic: 50 Overall with 50 Speaking, 50 Writing; Cambridge C1 Advanced: 169 Overall with 169 Speaking, 169 Writing; Occupational English Test (OET): 300 Speaking; 300 Writing; 300 Reading; 300 Listening; Duolingo (Up to and including Semester 2, 2024): Overall 95-100.
