The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation is designed for completion in 0.5 years of full-time enrollment (or equivalent part-time study). This program, administered by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, introduces students to fundamental concepts and applications in clinical rehabilitation while allowing specialization in areas aligned with individual clinical practice. The coursework master's degree offers instruction in research methodologies, equipping students to either cultivate research proficiency or refine advanced clinical rehabilitation techniques through applied projects. Alternatively, the research master's track focuses on building knowledge of clinical rehabilitation principles while providing methodological training, culminating in a substantial thesis-based research endeavor.
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related field such as nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other allied health area.
