The Doctor of Philosophy - Research is an advanced doctoral program focused on independent scholarly investigation.
Candidates either complete a supervised research project within a set timeframe or submit previously published academic work for evaluation. This PhD program aims to deliver top-tier research training while recognizing the creation of significant original contributions to academic knowledge. Graduates will develop specialized expertise, including advanced analytical abilities, technical proficiency, and research methodologies within their discipline. They will demonstrate capability in conducting autonomous investigations, applying field-specific techniques, critically evaluating source materials and experimental data, understanding their research's broader academic context, producing high-quality scholarly writing, exhibiting intellectual independence, and making meaningful original discoveries that expand their field's knowledge base.
To be accepted for enrolment in a Doctor of Philosophy candidature, an applicant must:
