The Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) is a four-year doctoral program focused on conducting original clinical psychology research, complemented by practical field placements and academic coursework. This program allows students to undertake advanced research in specialized clinical psychology domains. Through supervised clinical placements and tailored coursework, participants gain expertise to lead in their professional field. The program is designed to cultivate skilled scientist-practitioners in clinical psychology.
Applicants must hold an approved honours degree or fourth-year equivalent qualification with honours class 1 or upper 2A in the field of psychology from a recognised tertiary institution.
Candidates will be chosen based on interview, clinically relevant skills and experience, referee reports, and the ability to pursue doctoral-level research.
