The Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering) (Honours) program explores essential aspects of mineral deposit assessment and processing, including both underground and surface mining operations, along with mine safety and environmental considerations. Students will develop comprehensive engineering capabilities in analysis and design, while undertaking a two-semester Capstone Honours research project.
Through our Cooperative Model, this degree offers hands-on professional experience in your selected field.
Successful completion of Australian Year 12 with final-year mathematics courses, or overseas equivalent.
Overall IELTS band score of 6.0, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent; TOEFL iBT: 60-78 with minimums (Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21); Pearson (PTE): Overall 50 (no band less than 50); Cambridge-CAE: Overall 169 (no band less than 169).
