This program spans four years of full-time study. The first year focuses on foundational science courses that prepare students for the engineering curriculum in Year 2. Year 3 concentrates on core mining engineering principles, while Year 4 delivers specialized training in key areas for aspiring mining engineers. A major component of the final year involves students conducting independent research or a study project in mining or minerals engineering, culminating in a dissertation submission.
