Targets professionals and graduates from non-design backgrounds seeking to enhance their skills by incorporating design thinking to better understand and apply empathy in user-focused innovation.
Equips learners with comprehensive cross-disciplinary design expertise. The curriculum covers design thinking approaches for examining complex issues and user-centric ideation techniques. Participants will learn to approach design as a team-based endeavor that fosters creative solutions through empathy and prototyping.

Analyze advanced design theories, methodologies, and workflows to achieve expertise in interdisciplinary design practice or research. (AQF Masters CW: 1,2,3)
Employ effective communication and teamwork abilities to create innovative contributions to interdisciplinary design work or study. (AQF Masters CW: 6,7,8)

Qualification Requirements
All applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of three years of relevant supervisory/management experience, or equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience of which at least three of these years must be at a supervisory/management level.
Successful applicants with a Graduate Certificate qualification or higher in Business/Commerce may seek reduced course duration by applying for recognition of prior learning.

Academic admission requirements (Band 6) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:
Bachelor degree, or
Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.

TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition - Minimum score of 84, with no individual score less than 17.
TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) - Minimum score of 573, including Test of Written English of 5.0 or better.
