This program teaches students the core principles of human-centered design for products and systems, emphasizing interactive technologies and user experiences. It encourages innovative and analytical thinking through research-based interaction design and UX methodologies.
The degree targets skilled individuals pursuing careers in user experience, interaction design, or those wanting to apply technology creatively for design and business applications.
Upon completing the Master of Interaction Design and Electronic Arts, graduates will gain expertise in creatively applying new technologies across various professional and artistic contexts.
Admission to the Master of Interaction Design and Electronic Arts requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification with a credit average mark across all units; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate with a weighted average mark of at least 70.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
