Participants will engage in researching, creating, and presenting original artworks or pioneering approaches to artistic practice, critical analysis, and social contexts (tailored to their specific research focus). This artistic exploration represents contemporary expressions that push boundaries within chosen disciplines. The work often employs cutting-edge research methodologies, culminating in significant performances, exhibitions, presentations, or publications.
Key objectives include fostering artistic innovation; leveraging institutional resources to cultivate arts leadership with marketable skills that will shape Australia's cultural future; enabling diverse artists to blend varied creative approaches for groundbreaking results; and expanding upon traditional training to generate new artistic knowledge.
