Earning a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) allows you to follow your academic interests while being mentored by globally renowned experts.
Transmission represents an innovative research community where PhD and Masters candidates investigate the evolving landscape of creative sectors spanning Arts, Music, Media, Communication, Design, Science, Technology and Engineering.
This trans-disciplinary doctoral initiative, 'Transmission,' connects graduate researchers with FASTlab, offering training through practical challenges presented by corporate, government and nonprofit partners.
The program also enables businesses to develop research initiatives for graduate students, who receive joint supervision from School of Creative Industries faculty and industry specialists.
Doctoral and Masters candidates collaborate with faculty and peers on both practice-led and conventional research projects. Research groups convene monthly at FASTLab sessions to present findings and engage with visiting scholars, professionals and industry leaders.

i) have satisfied all of the requirements for admission to the degree of Bachelor with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II, Division 1 or any other degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
ii) have satisfied all the requirements for admission to a degree of Bachelor in the University or another degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
iii) in exceptional cases produce evidence of possessing such other academic or professional qualifications and/or experience as may be approved by the Head of School; or
