We promote cross-disciplinary initiatives. While individual postgraduate research topics are crafted in collaboration with the postgraduate coordinator or prospective supervisor, we especially welcome proposals exploring: Location; Bodily Experience; Physicality; Transience; Selfhood; Hybrid Spaces; Digital Society; Movement; Indigenous Perspectives; Hyper-Reality; Immersive Technologies; Challenging Imagery; Emerging Visual Forms; Sustainable Slow Tech; Methodology; Social Constructs; Transformative Moments; Sensory Perception; Art-History Connections. Current faculty projects examine: Terrain and Ecology; Space and Belonging, Art-Science Intersections; Ephemerality in Painting; Interstitial Zones; Tactility and Presence; Artistic Epistemology; Peripatetic Art Practices; Digital Realms; Contemporary Feminist Theories. The School provides modern studio facilities for students incorporating practical work into their research.
