The Master of Construction Management (Research) enables you to undertake specialized research within construction management and building fields. You'll develop a thesis presenting your investigative work in your chosen area. To earn this research-based Master's degree, candidates must exhibit a sophisticated and comprehensive grasp of complex subject matter by producing significant original contributions to their field, employing proper research methodologies. This culminates in a thesis with a maximum length of 50,000 words. While research forms the core of the program, students must also complete at least one coursework unit.
To be considered for selection into this degree you are required to have completed:
a research project including a thesis which is equivalent to at least 25% of a year’s full-time study at Level 8 of the Australian Qualifications Framework, with achievement of a grade for the project equivalent to a Deakin grade of 65% or equivalent
