The Master of Engineering Practice and Master of Construction Management Practice program equips students for leadership positions involving personnel, resources, materials, built environments, and infrastructure management. It also prepares them for supervisory roles in technological processes and management aspects concerning the design, construction, and upkeep of structures and civil engineering projects. The curriculum offers an organized exploration of advanced management principles, methodologies, and applications for building and infrastructure project planning and execution.
Participants develop substantial expertise in procurement strategies, project implementation, resource allocation, cost estimation, workplace safety, and risk assessment. The program additionally covers environmental factors, financial aspects, legal requirements, and contractual obligations relevant to project-driven sectors.
Applicants are required to have one of the following:
• a Bachelor of Engineering (in Civil or Infrastructure or Construction) (Honours) (minimum 4 years of full-time study) degree, or
• a Graduate Certificate of Engineering (in Civil or Structural or Infrastructure) degree, or
• a qualification deemed to be equivalent to any of the above.
