This program is tailored for individuals who have completed a four-year Engineering bachelor's degree in a relevant field that lacks Engineers Australia accreditation.
The program isn't intended for those holding an Engineers Australia-accredited four-year degree in the same field. Graduates with EA-accredited qualifications who wish to pursue advanced studies in their discipline should explore the Master of Philosophy or Master of Engineering Management programs instead.
Software engineering involves examining user needs and systematically developing, building, and evaluating sophisticated software systems by applying engineering methodologies.
This specialization equips you to participate in team-based, large-scale software development initiatives, bringing cooperative problem-solving, precision, innovation, and technical expertise to address intricate and varied software challenges.
Throughout the program, you'll complete a minimum of 12 weeks gaining hands-on professional engineering experience while maintaining an official record of your activities. In your final year, you'll undertake a comprehensive research project that synthesizes and applies the knowledge and competencies developed during your studies.
