This program will enhance your hands-on abilities and understanding of diverse writing forms, including innovative and unconventional styles. You'll grow through personal evaluation and collaborative projects, mentored by experienced instructors - several of whom are acclaimed, professional writers.
While developing proficiency in short stories, novels, scriptwriting, commercial fiction, and verse, you'll acquire techniques to refine your creative work for professional publication standards.
The Creative Writing program fosters innovation and artistic expression while cultivating analytical thinking through theoretical exploration and digital media applications.
In your second year, you'll consolidate writing techniques and expand your imaginative and evaluative skills through a dedicated project. Potential internships with industry partners offer additional opportunities to refine your craft and build a professional portfolio.
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to qualify for one of our postgraduate coursework programs: Completed a bachelor degree awarded by a recognised tertiary institution. Some postgraduate courses may require a completed bachelor degree in a relevant field.
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): Grade C; and Pearson Test of English Academic: 60.
