This honors program allows you to deepen your expertise in selected scientific fields: applied geology, chemistry, computer science, environmental and agricultural studies, geographic information systems, mathematics, physics, or geophysics.

Building upon your undergraduate science education, this honors program offers advanced study in your chosen specialization – whether applied geology, chemistry, computer science, environmental and agricultural sciences, geographic information systems, mathematics, physics, or geophysics. You'll explore research methodologies while developing critical analysis and creative thinking skills. The program culminates with a guided research project and honors thesis presentation.

The Geophysics Honors Major (BSc) (Honors) is designed to expand students' understanding of contemporary research methods in geophysics, demonstrated through completing a supervised research project and producing an honors dissertation.
