This honors program allows you to deepen your expertise in a selected scientific field: applied geology, chemistry, computer science, environmental and agricultural studies, geographic information systems, mathematics, physics, or geophysics.
Building upon your undergraduate science education, this honors program lets you advance your studies in your chosen specialization – whether applied geology, chemistry, computer science, environmental and agricultural sciences, geographic information systems, mathematics, physics, or geophysics. You'll explore research methodologies while developing critical analysis skills and creative thinking. The program includes a guided research project culminating in an honors thesis.
The Earth and Planetary Sciences Honors Major (BSc) (Honors) helps students expand their understanding of contemporary research methods in Earth and Planetary Sciences and related disciplines. This is demonstrated through conducting supervised research and producing an honors dissertation.
