Enhance community dental wellness by delivering comprehensive clinical care, such as oral check-ups, preventive procedures, teeth scaling and polishing, gum disease treatment, cavity restorations, pediatric tooth extractions, dental X-rays, impression taking, and various orthodontic tasks.

The program begins with foundational training in preventive dentistry and oral health therapy methods, alongside essential interdisciplinary coursework in health sciences, research, and communication during your initial year.

During years two and three, your education will integrate theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice and clinical experience.

You'll complete over 750 clinical training hours across diverse environments including Western Australia's Oral Health Center, community health facilities, private dental offices, and Dental Health Services clinics.

Upon completion, you'll possess the practical expertise and real-world experience necessary to confidently launch your career as an oral health therapist.
