This intercalated program allows Curtin Medical School (CMS) MBBS students to acquire research experience while earning an AQF level 8 certification. It prepares students for advanced research degrees via the PhD pathway, serving as a foundation for future clinician-scientist careers after internship. Participants will enhance their analytical abilities and apply them to specialized research areas. Through both independent study and supervised guidance, students will build expertise in their chosen research domain while developing essential investigative techniques. Under supervisor mentorship, students will formulate research proposals, conduct studies, gather and analyze data, and produce scholarly work.
